We have set up a greenfield off-highway tyre manufacturing plant in Panoli, Gujarat (India). The state of the art facility, spread over 127 acres, is expected to have a manufacturing capacity of 70,000 MT built in two phases. The phase-1 capacity is 40,000 MT.

Ascenso is an off-highway tyre brand owned and promoted by Mahansaria Tyres Private Limited (MTPL). It is the third such venture by the renowned Mahansaria Family. In their journey of more than three decades, they have built two leading tyre brands with global footprints. Apart from Mahansaria Family, International Finance Corporation (IFC), World Bank’s financial arm, is amongst the early investor in MTPL and owns 10% shares in the company.

Ascenso as a brand will cater to the needs of three key global segments: Agriculture, Industrial & Construction and Earth Mover. Our aim is to be present in all global markets as the most preferred brand. We will not only offer a wide range of tyres across applications, but will also customize solutions to suit specific customer applications.

In a short span of less than 2 years since the onset of operations, Ascenso has already created a strong presence in over 60 countries globally and is running on a path to be amongst the top 10 off highway tyre companies globally in the next 2-3 years.

As the first step towards building the distribution network in Europe, MTPL has acquired the majority stake in European Agriculture Tyre Distributors GmbH (EATD). EATD is headquartered in Wallenhorst, Germany, and distributes our wide range of products in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Benelux, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, and the Czech Republic.

Mahansaria Tyres Private Limited also acquired a majority stake in Tyres International Inc, based in Ohio (USA), in June 2021. Tyres international is a 50-year-old company in the distribution of Truck, Agricultural, Industrial & Construction Tyres with two warehouses based in Ohio and Nevada. The current business is managed by Mr. Marty Bezbatchenko and his son Mike Bezbatchenko. The company is responsible for distributing Ascenso tyres in North America.

Tyres International distributes MTPL’s ASCENSO brand of Agriculture, Industrial & Construction, and Earthmover tires in the United States whilst continuing to act as a distributor for Westlake commercial truck tires and Sunrise commercial truck wheels. Through this investment, the companies aim to continue the development of TI as a leading wholesale tire distributor in the United States of America.
